I just wanted to know how an handover procedure is done in between any existing procedure , like suppose for calculating position of a UE any positioning method is been chosen and after that UE has changed its cell , now will the current procedure be stopped and a handover will be done first and then positioning related things will be resumed or will it again start from first. can any body help me with an example and call flow, also please suggest me any specifications that give information of IE's that detect handover
Are you asking about the impact handovers have on location-based services? In general, LBS uses GPS coordinates reported from the UE itself, rather than which cell it's on. Handovers do not rely on the location of the UE; instead, they're based on relative RF measurements from the UE.
